Our Investment Partnership with Raven Capital
Good Way Homes, a prefabricated modular home builder, has received a growth investment from Raven Indigenous Capital Partners to further increase its manufacturing facility's capacity in Revelstoke, BC. The company is also proud to be announcing its lowest-cost, high-performance house.
Continued focus on high-performance builds
Formerly Adaptive Homes, Good Way Homes remains dedicated to building high-quality, sustainable, and modern prefabricated homes. Our goal is to contribute to addressing Canada’s housing needs by offering thoughtfully designed, long-lasting homes that prioritize sustainability and quality. With a focus on innovative building methods and modern design, we strive to create practical and enduring housing solutions for communities.
“We are grateful for the investment from Raven Capital and see this as validation for the future vision of Good Way Homes. We see this as the beginning of something really special, ” said Logan Ashley, CEO.
Devon Krainer, Principal at Raven Capital, said, “Raven is thrilled to partner with Good Way Homes and advance their bold vision to rapidly expand high-performance housing across BC, Alberta and beyond. Their leading approaches in prefabricated and sustainable construction set an extraordinary standard in energy efficiency, resilience and design.”
Scott McInnis, MLA for Columbia River-Revelstoke, said“I’m thrilled for Logan and his team at Good Way Homes for securing an investment in the vision he has for attainable, sustainable housing. As we navigate a challenging housing landscape throughout the Kootenays, I couldn’t be prouder of Logan for bringing his plan to fruition, which is scalable across our shared region. What excites me are the Indigenous cultural values which Logan has set forth as a foundation for his company moving forward.”
Focusing on a better way
Logan Ashley selected the brand name Good Way Homes to honour his Indigenous heritage and reflect an approach to building homes that is consistent with Indigenous economics: a focus on sustainability, quality, future generations, and community.
“Good way” is a concept used by many Indigenous peoples to recognize work that is conducted authentically, with intention and sincerity, through reciprocal and respectful relationships. It demonstrates working with a clear purpose and high levels of integrity, moral strength and communal spirit.*
Announcing the Fernwood
In addition to the investment from Raven Capital, Good Way has also announced the launch of the Fernwood, a high-performance, 560-square-foot home, for more information, including images, visit the Fernwood model page. This is the highest-value, high-performance home in the Canadian market. The Fernwood is net-zero ready and features a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It can be move-in ready in three months from the time of order. From Logan Ashley, “This is the most disruptive housing solution in North America today - you simply can’t find this level of performance in a home at this cost anywhere.”
